I don't feel sorry for the store owners. If you got rich off people over paying for merchandise then you deserve to go under. I do feel sorry for those unfortunate people who had to bear the brunt of this and get layed off.

I do agree that the extra security for Trump has gotten out of hand. Protecting the personal assets of an elected official goes beyond the responsibilities of the government. They should put Trump up in a house in Washington and if he doesn't what to stay there, it's up to him to assure his own personal protection.

Nah....Obamacare will hang on, like a lingering nasal drip. It won't matter what successive presidents or congresses do. The American healthcare system is now absolutely FUBAR and beyond redeeming. The middle-class is fvcked when it comes to healthcare. Absolutely fvcked.

Nice. People that sell expensive things to rich people deserve to lose their jobs. Due to outside forces that they had nothing to do with. Well, unless they voted for Trump of course. But even then, Trump lost NY so never mind that last bit there.

What about their employees, many of whom have been laid off already right in the midst of the holiday season, many of whom probably make less than you do? Do they matter?

Is that same place a brothel by chance?

Because if it is, I've got an answer for you and it's not what you're expecting.

As opposed to:
- infuriating the Chinese by violating the One China policy without even having an initial negotiation
- agitating the Indian government with all his lavish praise of Pakistan - an aggressive exporter of terror and enemy combatants who killed our soldiers in Afghanistan
- his encouragement of Duterte - who is implementing a 'final solution' to the drug problem in the Philippines
- his blatant ignorance of the premise of NATO (collective defense)

On the bright side he's right about one thing. The F35 fighter jet costs about 150 MM per plane. That is a lot of money.

Tell me you're not serious. Are you really concerned about his accepting a congratulatory phone call from Tsai? If so, you're unfamiliar with the US - China relationship.

Oh I don't doubt that, it's just that Obamacare was making it worse. Any country that has a nationalized system either makes taxes too high to justify it or provide so little care you end up needing supplements from a private company anyway.

Ok, store OWNERS. You know, they gotta make a living too. They have families to support. So what they make their living selling $10,000 suits to rich people, doesn't mean they're rolling in dough themselves.

Ayn Rand to Ronald Reagan and everything in between.

The trade turnaround is just the beginning...

It will be a race between Trump and his quasi Democrat beliefs and the hardcore conservatives and their beliefs. If Trump perseveres then we may get a few things done that would benefit people (infrastructure, reduced h1b, some insurance reform). If the conservatives persevere we get another figurehead Dubya while Pence and the GOP play President.

I kinda does, just to have a store in that area of town you have to be rich. The markups of what they sell is ridiculous.
