I wish I could feel that carefree about it, Bibi. But I just don't.

I am really worried about our country, and the world, under Donald Trump. I really think this guy is a complete ignoramus. I am really scared of the damage he not only could do, but is already doing.

Relationships in the world are fragile. He cannot just spout off the way he does, without risking some great consequences to us.

Oh, my goodness. How did we ever let this happen?

Re: Trump is such a Tweet!

Lol, Maureen Dowd just called Trump, "the high chair king."

On a more serious note, his biographer said, "Donald’s manic without being depressive,” he muses. “The only thing you can do is keep him distracted for a day and then one more day so that he doesn’t do anything disastrous.”

. . .

“a lot of people over the years have tried to mollify him and accommodate him day by day. And eventually you get a year behind you. Everybody else wants stability, but he thrives in turmoil.”

And from the comments section: "an incurious boy king promoted way above his capabilities."

Re: Trump is such a Tweet!

so far though, it seems that trump wasnt all talk. he is already doing the things he said he was going to do.

so, some things are going to change. i seriously doubt he is going to start WWIII.

i don't think he is going to get impeached any time soon.

That's the thing, I don't care about Hillary. I care about Trump. I have said it before, if it were Kasich, Bush or even Rubio, it would be a "damn, really??? Guess we'll see" attitude. Trump is a disgrace and really, the people who still support him, I have to question whether they are as well.

I think Hillery had a word for it Hersch--"deplorable". That'd be me. Now, because of you, they'll add another characterization to my dossier--a "disgrace". I've become what I've always liked in women--double D's.

If you don't embody controversy, what you say will become just another part of the media driven culture of stifling thought and debate about issues.

Not sure why you wear that as a badge of honor, but good for you I guess.

I felt that way when Obama became president. I learned that me going nuts with worry served no real purpose. I hate to say this, but change needs to happen because we haven't had good presidents in quite some time. I agree, this guy is by far pretty much the worst. Time to wake up and smell the stupidity when it comes to really looking at the candidates our parties put on that darn platform! That is when we really need to start speaking up, not when it's too late and the clown is already in office.

Good things come to those who wait...greater things come to those who get off their a$$ and do anything to make it happen.

Because its such a comedy to see the left protesting everything these days that escaped their attention prior to Trump winning. The same crowd of left wing folks, including its leaders, sit idly by to watch Israel kicked around, the rights of middle class scoffed at, basking in their identity politics while hundred of thousands of Muslims were killed in the middle east during the Obama administration, suddenly started to care deeply about about Muslims. It even funnier to watch them come unglued, go on these tirades and diatribes, destroying property, cursing, threatening rhetoric and virtual terrorist threats. Seeing them talk one way but behave another is both enlightening and entertaining. How you can imply Trump supporters are a disgrace shows your jaded view.
I did however see the difference between Trumps plan to deal with the Muslims from certain countries. Trump temporarily banned them from entering the U.S. while Obama simply delayed them from entering.

If you don't embody controversy, what you say will become just another part of the media driven culture of stifling thought and debate about issues.

Re: Trump is such a Tweet!

From Paul Krugman's column this morning:

"Our government hasn’t always done the right thing. But it has kept its promises, to nations and individuals alike.

Now all of that is in question. Everyone, from small nations who thought they were protected against Russian aggression, to Mexican entrepreneurs who thought they had guaranteed access to our markets, to Iraqi interpreters who thought their service with the U.S. meant an assurance of sanctuary, now has to wonder whether they’ll be treated like stiffed contractors at a Trump hotel.

That’s a very big loss. And it’s probably irreversible."

@Herschel

Do you mind these non-Tweet posts? If you do, I can start another thread. Just let me know.
