Re: 21 Regrets of the Dying

Based on how I feel now:
1) I will regret the harm I have done others through malice and carelessness
2) I will regret not making use of the talents that I have
3). I will regret the things I did not do far more than the things that I did
4). I will regret the opportunities for love that I turned down, but not as much as I would have regretted rejecting the love that I have
5). I will regret leaving people who depend on me
6). I will regret not seeing what happens next

OTOH I will believe that I have at least made the world slightly better rather than slightly worse.

Re: 21 Regrets of the Dying

I don't have a list. I think I can start by saying I will regret giving up on some things rather than fighting for them with all my strength.

I can't beat myself up too much, though. If I knew then what I know now, things might be different today.

I regret not following my gut.

I am not sure I have this regret thing figured out.

I've prayed. I've kept the faith, even through all the turmoil in my life.

I regret saying things that were better left unsaid.

I regret not knowing the difference.

I regret not knowing how to couch my words in rainbows and butterflies.

I regret loving a human being more than I loved God.

I regret not knowing how to love God more, but I think it is through the love I show to my fellow human being that it's achieved.

I regret spending too much time ruminating and not enough living.
