Trump isn't going to eliminate my six figure income or my wife's. I invested wisely in education and a set of EU passports. To be frank, I couldn't give a crap that Hillary lost.

When Trump's plans don't pan out, my escape pod is all ready. At that point I'll just make sure to get an apartment with CNN international and watch the flames from afar.

2. She explicitly said that she wanted a no-fly zone in Syria, which would have meant a high likelihood of ending up with the US shooting down Russian plane(s).

Earlier in 2016, before the nomination of Trump and Hillary, I had roughly the following preferences:

1. Rand Paul
2. Bernie Sanders
3. Jill Stein
4. Gary Johnson
5. Giant meteor of death

In fact, after Rand dropped out, I gave a friend money to help Bernie in Iowa.

I see no reason to apologize for my actions.
WW 3?

Good one.

The rationalization hamster just lapped me.

Add me to the ranks of the deplorables with my masters degree.

Many of what I like to call "Harvard type" elitists like John are rabidly liberal.

Them and virtually every urban resident living off of the government dime.

Just goes to show "book smart" has no correlation to "common sense."

Harvard? LOLZ no. More like Southern Kentucky College of Mines and Podiatry.

We're rabidly pragmatists actually. Living off the government? Meh. The feds paid for my MA degree back then....

Common sense? Let's see the average Joe show up at JFK with a suitcase and $500 and make it a few short years later - in psychology 😁

Just my personal adjective that recognizes your self proclaimed status as an "intellectual."

There's nothing pragmatic at all about liberal doctrine. It's entire dogma is based on emotional reaction.

I don't self proclaim anything really. I let my academic, professional, and personal accomplishments speak for themselves.

Pragmatism comes into play only by virtue of realizing that it's a zero sum game.

Ha ha. Your liberal elitism stands out in every thread that you participate in.

Spoken like a true socialist. Capitalists realize that capitalism is a positive-sum game.

You reject everything that disagrees with you and I'm the elitist? Holy cow...

You do know what we have is hardly a capitalist system right?

Just checking...

You also reject everything that you disagree with. So does everyone else, by definition.

You're the elitist because you think you are better than everyone else.

And of course I know this isn't a capitalist system. But the capitalist part of it is what is responsible for everything positive.

Read Atlas Shrugged for details.

I don't reject everything the GOP comes up with actually. I support strong immigration laws, more sensible regulations, American jobs, and all that. I still think George HW Bush was the best President in my stint here and that both Clinton and Obama sold out.

Wake me up when we get real capitalism btw. When Airbus and Embraer stop kicking our butt because Boeing is actually competitive, or when we see Ryanair flying to Louisville.

Until then we'll have the 1% prosper and the rest of the faithful dream of owning their own sandwich shop.

Don't let the screen door hit you on the way out. We'll survive just fine without your "priceless" contributions.
