Some statement was made to the effect that this thread had advocated the use of prostitutes by married men. I couldn't find any such suggestion anywhere in the posts which I searched.
I thought the thread was by way of offering counseling to this girl to allow her to get out of the business and find a good husband, instead of the obviously weird one which she has now.
I have suggested that prostitution should be regulated , but only to protect the health and safety of the girls and their customers. I suggest that customers at any regulated brothel would have to present ID showing them to be disease free, of sufficient age, and not married. What about that?
It probably got out of hand or it was inappropriate in some way. I didn't read much of it, but it's best to move onto something else. Posted via Mobile Device

Apparently you didn't read the thread at all. She DID have a partner and she wasn't trying to get out of the business. She also had no problem screwing married men and being party to lying to the wives and children. She claimed she was so open and honest yet displayed none of that honesty whatsoever. She also had no issue putting the wives in harms way via disease. Oh and she said that once these married mens children became "of age", she would screw them as well.
Counseling? Laugh. She was trolling for customers. Period.
Proof that they are not married? You mean no wedding ring? Ha!

I had to read almost the entire thread again to see that part. I couldn’t find any post wherein the other quotations appeared..
Even if she did know that some of her customers were married, I don’t see how this necessarily supports the moderator’s view that this is somehow “anti-marriage”. What if these married men had wives who were frigid? What if these women were incapable of having sex due to cancer or any of the other numerous injuries---and surgical errors--that can affect this part of their anatomies?
It seems to me that the argument could equally be made that this prostitute may have been providing a service which may have even helped keep these mens’ marriages together. Perhaps if it had it not been for the prostitute, these marriages may have ended in affairs, divorce, or both---destroying the family unit and resulting in the wastage of thousands, if not millions of dollars, in attorney’s fees, forensic accountant’s charges, forced sales of homes, and fatherless children! i

A marriage should only ever be between two people.
if a wife is seriously ill and a husband is so selfish that he cannot care more about her at that time then his sexual needs then he doesn't deserve to be married IMO. Same goes for a wife who's husband is sick.
If the wife or husband is "frigid" as you called it, then they need to seek help and get to the bottom of their problems, if they can't after trying their best, then perhaps it is time to go their separate ways.
Sleeping with prostitutes is IMO a revolting thing to do to your marriage and your wife or husband. It's cheating and it's dangerous, not to mention all of the emotional damage it can do.

Divorce court judges will be the first to tell you that many couples simply can’t AFFORD a divorce. Splitting the family into two separate households simply requires more assets than are available.
If the woman is unable to have sex, and her husband is perfectly normal and healthy, this then leaves only three possibilities: (1) lifelong celibacy for the man; (2) having “affair(s)" with non-prostitutes (this is much more expensive in the long run and can result in second families, blackmail and other adverse complications), and (3) finding relief with a reasonably-priced, inspected, professional and discrete prostitute. The man’s wife doesn’t even have to know about it
In my opinion there is no question as to which, of the above alternatives, would actually be fair to all concerned, supportive of the marriage, harmless and safe!
My brother's divorce only cost him about $400 and that was with a lawyer. He had his lawyer draw up the paperwork and had his wife served. A few weeks later, he was divorced. Even with kids and assets to split, divorce doesn't have to be expensive and is probably a lot cheaper than continually visiting prostitutes or call girls.
Also, I don't know where you live but the prostitutes in my city are neither safe nor harmless. Not to mention, most of them are extremely unattractive. I would honestly rather be celibate.
Not defending Galt by any means, but a divorce can financially destroy someone.... Of course it depends on the kind of divorce, contested/uncontested - contested can be extremely costly. In my 5 month pseudo divorce, my bill was well over $3K and counting had we not pulled the plug.
And back to the prostitutes Galt. If someone is trying to find relief with a reasonably-priced, inspected, professional and discrete prostitute, it will not be reasonably priced, I can guarantee that.
Unless someone was health inspected daily I wouldn't trust their disease-free status for a second. Not only that, but some illnesses, like AIDs, aren't immediately apparent, and can take months, if not longer to be detectable. Posted via Mobile Device
I have no idea how much hookers cost, but for the sake of argument lets say $200. You really think that paying $200 a shot is better than getting a divorce or counseling? Even if the guy only goes once a month, that's $2400 a year he's spending on the hooker.
If hiring a hooker is what you think you need to keep your marriage together, you go for it. Talk about twisted thinking

Never understood the whole paying for sex thing. Just seems bizarre to me... I mean as a woman, I could not imagine paying a guy for sex. But it's a profession that's been around for ages, so there must be something to it I'll never truly understand. If I had an extra $200, I'd buy some clothes.
I know - I don't get it either. We hear from guys all the time that they want an emotional connection in order to enjoy sex, but the fact prostitution has been around as long as penises have seems to belie that.

That might be fine in some cases. But what if the woman were injured, in an accident, and as a result she could not have sex and had to depend upon her husband for daily assistance? Even if he wanted to divorce her he would have to pay an enormous amount of alimony for her care. In this situation I can’t think of any alternative to my above proposal. If he had an affair, and she found out, she may file against him and get this same alimony!

They are ugly and worn-out because they have to work where it is unregulated. They have to be ”on the run” all of the time, are offered dope by pimps, don’t get regular medical attention and have to grab junk food, instead of the healthy, family-style meals served in respectable brothels.
