by the way Alex,,, that "marino" guy..... well I'm a gal, first off and second off, you just got through quoting how you're always polite, and never rude, a comedian, or disrepectful... are you serious? you really see yourself that way? Dude.... get a clue, read your comments, and the tone of them... you're the jack*** here, no one else.

ps... the problem with you is,,, you read stuff you didn't wanna hear, it pissed you off, then you decided to write and attack every single thing I, or voivod said, and you got back what you dished out, now, you can't handle it? And now,,, you're polite and everyone Else is rude? You sure have a distorted view of reality....

The fact is,,, our laws are based on the Bible, on Jewish/Christian values...
thank you marina...and yes, i am a constitutional scholar, with degrees from the university of washington and gonzaga university. any time someone would like to debate about the constitutionality of marriage rights or how and when the term "separation of church and state" came into being, i'm more than willing to debate those points. it would be a short debate. marina is right about the United States laws based upon judeo-christian heritage.

again...refer to my post regarding "selfish" and "selfless" in the fights for freedoms. axes to be ground and oxes being gored generally tell the tale. keep this in mind alex...whether you adhere to it or not, there IS a "gay agenda" in THIS country. your reference to public display of affection is a contributing factor in that agenda. go ahead, ask me about it. i'll cite chapter and verse from GLAAD.

Dang, alex fider , you're just plain nuts...
The love of Jesus Christ radiates from the words you speak.

Maybe all this rudeness and defensiveness comes from a place of you not wanting to fully accept and love who you are deep down? Maybe you're attracted to women and can't stand it?
Awww, I'd be so touched if you were genuinley concerned with helping me, and not just getting on your moral high horse.

Welcome to the world of debate.

I could handle it fine, that's why I replied to it.

This is my post - please explain how I was rude:

Do you not see the contradiction in these two statements? If you have just established that beastiality, incest, polygamy etc. is wrong but homosexuality isn't, then there is no dilema. Give rights to gays, but not to the others.

"Forever"? Not quite... Many ancient cultures celebrated same sex unions.

I wouldn't dream of saying such!
In fact, I was very polite. You act in a very unChristian way.

selfish vs. selfless. that was the point where you took offense. reel in your anger, it doesn't serve you well in this case. my use of the word "selfish" was in context. you're using logic fallaciously. and your protestation are not becoming of you in this forum.[/QUOTE]

As far as I can recall, neither was I. Put words in my mouth twice more and you're on ignore, pal.

Better question: Do I care?

I never said it was a constitutional right. That's the second time you've put words in my mouth.

I never took offense. Or are you going to do what many Christians before you have done, which is judge others motives?

I'm not angry.
I wasn't protesting.
You know what? I'm going to count that as the third strike. You're now on ignore for judging my motives and implying I said things when I didn't... repeatedly. If that is what your arguments are based on, please do not expect anyone to take them seriously. Don't bother replying to this post. Have a nice day!

Marina, as far as I'm aware we can continue speaking.

ohhh Alex... just give it up... LOL.... I am not going to cite anymore of the ridiculous crap you said about me, or my religion. But, be careful when arguing with Voivod... it's clear he's wayyyyy smarter than you are, and me too , clearly. He knows what he's talking about in terms of the U.S. Constitution, so I'd tread carefully if I were you , lest you make yourself look like an arse. You won't win this one Alex... worry about your own borderline socialist country, and stay out of our business. (by the way, how's that "universal healthcare" workin out for ya?) Opps! did I say that out loud?
Hey,, no one ever said Christians don't have a sense of humor, convictions that they fight for, and strong opinions, not to mention the ability to use sarcasm... you assume Christians are absolutely perfect in every way, no one ever claimed that, but I thank you for the high opinion of my religious faith..... Sweet pea, you've just got to get over yourself....

LOL... you're a bit freaky Alex Fider. I mean that in the nicest possible way. The funny thing is, it's likely that I would like you very much if I met you and had the opportunity to talk with you at length with some cheese and wine for refreshments. But it ain't so... so.... so long. Take care of yourself. And I wish you blessings of every kind, I truly do mean that. I hope you have a happy life, and find time to love, laugh, and treasure your lover, and nature, and anything else you hold dear.

Same to you. Let's leave it at that.
