So do you vote and if so have you figured out who you are going to vote for in the Presidential election? I vote but I am having such a hard time deciding who I would like to see win. I keep flip flopping . I hope I can narrow it down before elections or who knows after next week it might be narrowed down for me.

I always vote every year. I'm a libertarian, but often will vote for either of the majories depending on who is running and how much I think they share my values.

My husband and I are "political junkies" and we watch the election news all throughout the year. We could happily vote for any one of the candidates that are standing for the Democratic presidential nomination, but the person that impresses us the most is John Edwards. He understands poverty because he grew up in it, he understands struggle because he has had to fight for everything he has gained in life, and he has a passion burning in his soul to correct injustice wherever he sees it. We were favorably impressed with his words and style during the 2004 election, and we're proud to be able to continue our support. Although our resources are modest, we've contributed a few bucks to his campaign and we'll continue to help out where and when we can.

This will be the first election that I am able to vote in, so I am excited to do so. Not sure who I will be voting for yet though, we still have time to decide fortunately.

I believe everyone who can vote should~But how to vote that is the question. I wish someone would stand out above the rest. I have voted all parties. However, many times it seems like a choice of less evils.

To be honest I have been listening to more of what Ron Paul has to say and though I might not agree with everything I really feel that he is not telling me just what I want to hear. I think he tells it honestly the way it is and not just what people want to hear to get their votes. But because of that I don't think he will win.

If I am right he ran in 88 as a libertarian for president. I think he will not make it through super tuesday. I would like to see it though. I also like McCain because he is willing to work with the Dems as well in getting things done. The Dems have a few people I could note but not yet vote for. Clinton and Obama have both showed me something I like but Edwards is by far the best for the job even if he isn't the most chrismatic.

I might not be able to vote but if I did then it would be Mike Huckabee and Obama. They both are the ones who were speaking about taxes. It would be great to take off these, it would be helping many to make good money and save instead of paying all higher taxes. It is my part of thinking.

I don't know that Democats, traditionally, lower taxes. My understanding has been that they usually support more governemnt programs which wind up costing more for the middle and upper income bracket people. But it also depends on what income bracket you fall in. Frequently, these government programs will benefit lower income Americans.

While Obama is a Democrat, I'm not quite sure where he stands on a lot of that stuff.

Personally I would like to see a revolution in the way we are taxed. I like the flat tax at the cash til idea the best. You get your paycheck but when you buy anything you get taxed. Therefore you can save as much as you want and it cuts all the tax loopholes.

That's an interesting idea, I think if they did that I'd have to buy all high ticket items from Canada and Mexico and have them shipped
