This is my first time posting/logging into this site. My husband and I have been going through hard times for several years. We both feel the best course of resolution for us is an at home/self paced program. I done some research and found 3 programs we are considering. I am hoping to get some feed back on each of these.

Marriage Fitness with Mort Fertel
Light His Fire/Light Her Fire - Dr. Ellen
Save Your Marriage Made Remarkable Simple - Dr. Frank Gunzburg

My husband would prefer a book versus a CD as it is not always convenient (kids, work, etc) to sit and watch a CD. But we both want to have workbooks, assessments, exercises.

Can anyone offer reviews on either of these products.

i asked this question and did this research too.

i found mort fertel's marriage boot camp program to be the best. i registered for it and it worked for us.

one of the things i like is that you can access the system via the book, workbook, cd's, and/or teleconferences. he provides you with so many materials that you can learn it so many ways...however you like to learn or however is convenient. my husband used mostly the written materials. i read some but also made good use of the cd's. we did the exercises and assessments together and that worked well.

i looked into dr. ellen's program, but there are 2 different programs for men and women and we wanted to do the program together.

i also looked into dr gunzberg's program but i found some bad reviews and am not sure this program is really credible.
