Help

I'm a newly wed and my husband is gone right now for training in the military. Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with the loneliness. He is my best friend and it's miserable when he is gone.

Re: Help

Keep yourself busy. Go to the gym or maybe start a project on the house. Something that you can work toward for when he comes back.

Re: Help

I have no advice, but just reading what you wrote warms my heart. I hope you tell this to him when he gets back.

Re: Help

Thanks for the advice! We just recently moved to a new place and I have no friends here so it's hard. I just want to find something to keep me busy so I don't have to just sit around and worry about him. I admire anyone who has had to go through this for long periods of time. It's so tough!

Don't talk to men, but go to gym & get so buffed! When hubby comes hone & asks why, tell him you were working on your thighs so when you saw him again, you were going to wrap your sexy legs so tight around him, you will never let him go again!

Any classes, or possibly a church you could start going to in order to make new friends.

I'm a military wife as well. I feel for you! It's very tough when they leave. Do you have children together? If so join some mommy and me classes (you will meet tons of other mommies) also you can call MilitaryOneSource (Google them for number) and they have GREAT resources to help out military spouses. They can help you find support groups with other military spouses.

Re: Help

We don't have any kids together yet. We both want to be able to spend time together before starting a family. I will definitely check that out thank you!
