Review:
From the opening cover and quotes lauding this book it appeared to me that this book was written by someone who is in a self appreciation society. It reminded me of movie advertising - the worse the movie is the more the trailers are shown. Okay the book does what its says on the tin by laying out the timeless 'wisdom' in the pages. The fact that the page numbers and chapter titles were at the base of the pages made for a very distracting layout that I found very annoying. The story format of the book did not appeal to me. The entire book would have been better served to just have been a list of the jumble of quotes and 'knowledge' that emerged in the storyline - a storyline that is of a 10 year's old standard. Too much of the material is from very dubious sources. Anyone who thinks to quote Churchill as a guide must lack any morals or an ounce of common sense!
My recommendation is to avoid this book like the plague. I think a man might learn more from watching an episode of The Simpsons.
