Hi everyone,

A little about my story.. I came here a while ago because my wife and I were on the way out. She was cheating and was being selfish in other ways. Anyway, I found a few good books that helped me and wanted to share them with eveyone that needs help.

Stop your Divorce - Homer McDonald

Can't say enough about this man. He has words of wisdom that everyone needs to read. If you haven't read his book, you are missing out on needed marriage wisdom.

Zaxxes.com - Love Boost! by Jonathan Davis

This is a PDF ebook. I learned alot about how I was acting and what to do to help save my marriage. More like a guide than a book though. I followed the instructions he set and watched as my marriage came back to life.

The one that is giving me the best guidence right now is " How to survive your wifes midlife crisis"
It gives me an explaination why, what they are thinking, why they are treating me so bad, what to do to help me look better in there eyes. I am giving it my best

Our culture provides little help about how to keep marriages strong. We only have movies and songs about falling in love, not about staying in love. Books are a great aid to seeing what we are doing wrong, and how we can change things before they get past recovery.

My DH & I are on chapter 11 of 'His Needs, Her Needs tonight. Haven't read LoveBusters yet; would you recommend that one as well?

We did Five Love & Languages the book and DVD - loved it!

We finished Love & Respect (with workbook) by Emerson Eggerich before starting His Needs/Her Needs. I'd recommend that one if you haven't read it yet.

We bought ,too, the Love Dare' from the 'Fireproof' movie; but haven't started it yet. Next on our list.

I, personally, would really love to find a good one on dealing with 'insecurity'' for me. Having a tough time with stuff from childhood & an emotionally/verbally abusive first marriage. Would anyone be willing to recommend one?
