R.I.P., to a very strong and courageous woman who left the planet gracefully. It is sad for her children left behind. It is sad for her children especially this time of year when families come together. I wish the very best healing of grief for the children, friends, family, loved ones.
I am really sad about her passing and especially knowing she was put through the stress of infidelity when she was fighting another horrible battle.
I wonder how that scum John Edwards feels right now?
She was pure grace and class. She asked for her husband to be by her side so that her children could see them one last time as a family. Wow, just wow.
I would like to think that he feels like scum but I doubt it. Anybody who treats their life partner the way he did, doesn't appear to have any empathy or a soul, IMO. Of course he will play the grieving husband but I doubt anybody will buy it. John and his mistress were planning their wedding last year for when "she" dies. Doesn't sound like somebody with a soul, now does it? Complete dirtbag.
A strong capable, intelligent Attorney. She chose to support her children and husband while raising awareness for health care reform, the inequality between classes in jobs, health care and education. Advocating for equality in public education and raising awareness for breast cancer research. Please don't allow her legacy to be her husbands poor choices,....She was SO MUCH MORE than that.
I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. My heart goes out to her family and friends. I hope that the kids' father can finish the job that Elizabeth started in raising their children. A beautiful, dignified, classy, intelligent woman..someone we can all aspire to.
May she rest in peace.
