Wink Spotted on TAM

I just have a warped sense of Humor, I guess. I see things that just give me a chuckle. Lately there have been a lot of people talking about Plutonic relationships. I'm not quite sure what the term means. Either it is an extreme long distance relationship, or it is an affair that is very underground.

This morning I saw this one "I have a boing life...", and I wish I had one too!

There is also a lot of talk about Uranus relationships, especially those she had with many other men before meeting the current SO.

Re: Spotted on TAM

I avoid the plutonic relationship threads. I have no experience of Disney character fetishism so I'm useless to the OPs.

Re: Spotted on TAM

People think that pleatoic means that it's just a friend ship.

That's not what it means. It basically means an EA: "intimate and affectionate but not sexual."

In Victorian times it was pretty acceptable to have platonic relationships. Marriage was an obligation. Love was for something outside of marriage.

Re: Spotted on TAM

Don't know if anyone posted this, but... I think it means when you are down-graded to a second class spouse. You may still be important, but it's now to a different class of people. Sort of like plan B, you just aren't good enough anymore. Since you don't have potential suitors orbiting, you become no better than one of the ones who has potential, but just doesn't live up to suitors who are more attractive.

ETA: You can look up the relativity of the planet to a relationship.

Re: Spotted on TAM

One thing I've been seeing less of is folks talking about how this or that person is a "looser".

It's a relief, and gives me hope for my fellow man.

Re: Spotted on TAM

I'll admit it, I'm a bit of a grammar Nazi. I was a school district spelling bee champ. I think my biggest peeve is "your vs. you're", but I've learned to let it go...

My wife used to read the dictionary as a teenager. Scrabble is our favorite board game and she is a formidable foe...I never take her for granite. *grin*

"defiantly need to get that back!

I just read an artificial"

Is that mean? It did make me laugh.

@ Lila,

I'm feeling silly today. I don't know why.

I don't get out as much as I used to. Do some people still say 'excaped' and 'skellingtons'?
