Re: What did you make to eat today?

@heartsbeating - Another sprouts afficiando shows up, which is great! Honestly, this is a marvelous counterpoint to all the rich/fatty stuff served at Thanksgiving. Sprouts are inexpensive, nutritious, and a good source of fiber.

I've even eaten them cold as part of a salad. I hated broccoli and sprouts most of my life. I discovered just tweaking the preparation and seasoning made all the difference.

I refuse to make anyone a priority in my life who considers me nothing more than an option.

You can't start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one.

Re: What did you make to eat today?

The carefully planned flan pic I planned on taking before the madness starts isn't going to happen. Refrigerator logistics preclude it. I'll try on the fly but I'm not hopeful as I assume the bevs will be flowing.

I usually take this shot on the porch, not this year, it's freaking snowing.

Sigh, my wife gives me the speaking treatment.

Lasagna shooters (messy but I'm not stressed, no, not at all).

Happy Thanksgiving.

I made a crab stack and lost interest. A couple vodkas later I steamed then sliced up a quarter a tail.

Re: What did you make to eat today?

Yesterday, made cottage pie with beef, carrots, onions garlic, chilli flakes and lots of my garden herbs (basil and oregano) and Worcestershire sauce. Topped with yummy floury mashed russet potatoes, sprinkled with cheese and baked in the oven. Served with simple garden salad consisting of lettuce, cherry tomatoes, spring onions and japanese cucumber and dressed with sesame dressing. Yum yum!

We don't do Thanksgiving in case you were wondering

I've never had a pumpkin flan.

By that photograph, I'm certainly missing out.

Looks great, Charlie! (and Mrs P)

That zesty orange salad looks particularly delectable!

I'm craving citrus now.

Although I made mine just in the film, without the spray or oil and they still turned out great.
