I'd say your Mother in Law probably thinks you're too skinny.
My lovely MIL says I'm too thin & is always trying to stuff me we cake! She makes really nice cakes so I never say no!

The cats get along fine but there is always a boxing match followed by a big chase. They're indoor cats so it's their exercise.

Where the extra pounds go is apparently a grass is greener thing, at least according to Mrs P (I'm not complaining ).

Sigh, my wife gives me the speaking treatment.

@MrsAldi - being from Ireland are you a Eavan Boland fan? I've discussed poets before but briefly Eavan Borland and Mary Oliver are two of my favorite contemporary poets. I feel Boland's Quarantine is one of the greatest love poems ever written...definitely one of my top five favorites.

Re: What's in your mind?

@Haiku yes I studied all Eavan's work in college.
They never let us forget about the famine here!
It's a good thing, keeps us compassionate.
In a Time of Violence is amazing.
I particularly like The Death of Reason.
But Quarantine is one of the best. Beautiful yet tragic.
Makes me appreciate my life & husband.

Yes, she thinks that at 5'2 I am too skinny. My work pants say otherwise and are getting tighter and tighter...

Re: What's in your mind?

Thinking about the land we are buying. My wife and I are buying 55 acres about 20 minutes north of our house. Looking forward to closing on it so I can start having some fun on it. All 55 acres are wooded with mature pines and oaks and it has a 1/2 acre pond and a year round running creek on it. I'm stoked!

Re: What's in your mind?

LOL, the cutest/ funniest thing I've ever heard from my hubby; he has been quiet today...kind of mad but did not want to tell me why. After a while, he told me he was mad at me because he had a dream were I was cheating on him....with Captain America!!!! LOL, he said he knows it is silly but his dream was so real that he is mad at me and he is still trying to work it out on his mind and let go....gotta love it!

I've tried that and he knows a mean it but deep inside he doesn't believe it. He knows I love him so he is good. What's sad is that he had the dream and not me

Dang! Hooking up with Captain America??? You must be pretty hot. He's not into just any woman.
