One observation, about 3 weeks ago I started experiencing shoulder discomfort which was odd considering I have rarely had this issue, even with t he high amount of benching I do. It got to the point where I had to stop benching these past few weeks. I was reading around and come across an article that discussed the rise in shoulder injuries due to certain types of exercises being done more frequently. One of them was battling ropes, which as it turns out I had been doing a lot of over the past few months as part of tabata. I am dropping these for now, so we will see if that was t he main cause.
I did get some light bench work in today, just high rep closed grip board presses along with some accessory work.
My weight has tanked over the past 1-2 months as well, so I need to more closely monitor as it looks like I am underestimating how many calories I am burning through on a daily basis.
