Yup. Hollywood couldn't have scripted it any better. Now the damn withdrawal symptoms are kicking in.

March 2017 can't get here soon enough! I admit it, I'm a baseball junkie.

Just finished season 3 last night. Not sure if you have finished it yet, but WOW! I wish American producers could make TV shows like this, not asinine sit-coms and the other crap they push on us.

Re: What are you watching?

Aftermath is a pretty good series about a Revelations based apocalypse.

Just finished watching Freakish... zombies and the fortified high school take. I liked it.

Watched the first episode of the Doctor Who spinoff Class. Not sure about this one,but I'll try another episode or two.

I agree and that is why never I watch regular television anymore, I even stream NBA games. Netflix Originals and Amazon Originals are much better in all aspects than anything on regular television.

There is no TV/cable/satellite service at my house, by choice.

I like Caviezal a lot. He is a very underrated actor who never seems to get much work.

Totally agree. I cut the cable years ago, I was paying $100+ a month for 100's of channels I never watched. Don't miss it at all. All I have now is over the air and Netflix. The only pay service I have is NHL center ice, I'm a hockey nut (go bolts!).

Re: What are you watching?

Just started Bosch on amazon and if you like maverick police detective shows this would be up your alley.

Also watching Westworld and then read up on it since I can't figure out what's going on, but I like it.

My DirecTV contract is up next summer. Then may cut the cord. Get a good antenna, Netflix, Amazon, and HBO go and I will be all set.

I may switch back to TWC too, though I can't stand them. I pay $100/month for internet (or my work does) and I get offers for heavily discounted cable. Any Time Warner customers out there?

Re: What are you watching?

I’ve been sick for the past few days with a nasty cold, so to “cheer” myself up I’ve watch nearly every episode of all three seasons of Black Mirror. Almost all the episodes are wonderfully bleak, dystopian nightmares. I thoroughly enjoyed them!

My faves were "White Bear", "Nosedive", and "Fifteen Million Merits". But really they're all pretty good; you end up thinking about each episode long after they are over.

And I found a dreamy old song that is new to me and now tinged with bittersweet creepiness. Love it!

Yes! That was a very unsettling episode. I found myself yelling at the TV “ya dumb kid, everyone does it! It’s not a big deal!” But then in the end… it didn’t matter because you realize what he'd done and it all made sense. This show is a major mind eff!

I’m now watching “Drunk History”. Effing love that damned show!

I watched Black Mirror "The Entire History of You" last night and couldn't help but think of TAM.

I'm quite puzzled by why you call it the World Series when the world comprises of 50 states in a rather significant land mass that, in their entirety, make up one single nation. But I have to say, bravo Cubs. 108 years was it?

The Young Pope

Jude Law is wonderfully good, it's a religious version of House of Cards.

I have wondered the same thing. When a team wins the super bowl they proclaim them self's world champions. Um, no, football is played in America only (at least our version of it).
