Matt chrome book isn't bad but if you really want to make best use of a chromebook, dump the OS and install Linux....you could run Mint or Ubuntu...then you have a better system.

The one just before Canary, I think?

It's a Samsung Chromebook.

It behaved itself very well!

The training was over in about 10 minutes, now actually using Wordpress to create some company documents.

I have thought about this, but I installed Linux on a PC some years ago and I never could get the mouse drivers to work properly.

I asked for help on the forums and was roundly berated for daring to raise this as a concern. "Well, what do you expect? Linux is a free system, after all?" was what one person told me.

This put me off, so I removed Linux from my computer and went back to Windows.

i agree with you matt, once upon a time the versions of Linux had so many driver issues...now the versions out there for both Mint 18 and Ubuntu work great, i have them both running on my PC along with window 10 and there has been no hiccups...if you want you can always run first off a thumbdrive first
