Kentucky House Bill 396.... Monday funnah.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

HB 396, which would require at least two doctor’s visits and a permission slip from one’s wife, before a man could acquire erectile disfunction-type drugs.

HB 396 also specifies that only married men may obtain the drug and requires "a man to make a sworn statement with his hand on a Bible that he will only use a prescription for a drug for erectile dysfunction when having sexual relations with his current spouse."

Rich!

Yet another Neanderthal/Neocon, "Make America Great Again" law that either the State or the Federal appeals courts will have absolutely no trouble in gleefully striking down!

Re: Kentucky House Bill 396.... Monday funnah.

"Rep. Marzian is submitting this bill in response to Kentucky’s “informed consent” bill– a bill requiring women to consult a doctor at least 24 hours prior to an abortion. That bill passed with 92 “yes” votes and was quickly signed into law by Republican Governor Matt Bevin.

In an interview with local Fox affiliate WDRB, Marzian said the intent of her bill is to “have government insert itself into the personal, private decisions of men — since we have already inserted it into our personal, private decisions of women.”

The bill reads like a satirical article, and is blatantly absurd. To be sure, Rep. Marizian is not seeking victory. She is submitting a tongue in cheek jab at the pro-life Kentucky legislature. Marzian views the recent abortion legislation as government intrusion into women’s lives. Her bill simply returns the favor for men."

One of the deepest feminine pleasures is when a man stands full, present, and unreactive in the midst of his woman's emotional storms. When he stays present with her, and loves her through the layers of wildness and closure, then she feels his trustability, and she can relax. -- David Deida, The Way of the Superior Man

That's it? Many guys on TAM have to go through way more hoops.

And this being Kentucky I'm surprised they didn't make an exception for sencond cousins. JK, but still * ducking *

Sigh, my wife gives me the speaking treatment.

I had to look at my calendar to see if it was April 1st. Seriously?

Hell! Up there in that gene pool, how about first cousins or siblings?

And to help prove your point, I'd like to call as my first witness, Kentucky's Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis!

But we have good bourbon, horses, and basketball. Not a bad compromise 😁

With such eloquent fare as that, I would guess that maybe a little inbreeding could just be overlooked!

And the guy who the arena is named after even let black people play basketball once he realized they could help him win.

@john117, @arbitrator, @CharlieParker, your thoughtful insights into those you disagree with renders me speechless.

How to deal with an unrepentant spouse: an Irish person can tell a person to go to hell and have them so excited at the prospect they demand to know when, where the train is leaving and how to get a ticket. Then offer them a loan to get the ticket and a ride to the train station. Be Irish

Um, I didn't disagree with anything or anyone.

That and the OP did start this thread in Social. FTR, I take ED meds and changed them without consulting my wife, had this thread been started in SiM I would have shared my experiences.
