I guess we are very fortunate in that each of us are the others preferred body type. My wife likes a lean "dancers" body. I am 5'8" and 145 lbs. She thinks big muscles are gross. I like petite women with slender legs and, let's say, small "features". My wife is 5'2" and 110 lbs. She wears a size 4 skinny jean.
We are both in our 50s.
I know everybody has a difference preference. So are there others out there like us?

Re: Is Your Wife/Husband Your Preferred Body Type?
Yesssssssssssssss! Very much so!
Before I met him, I knew the type of man I was into. My height (or there abouts), Latino (rawr), lean, broad shoulders, nice legs, tattoos....YUMMY!
Then I met him and was like, "holy crap! he looks JUST like what I wanted!" Then I talked to him and he blew my mind I still look at him and purr. he's soooo dang sexy, omg.
I'm his type too. I was this size when we met...I'm not heavy, but I'm not skinny. I have meat on my bones and curves. After our first date, he texted me "BTW, Ur ****in HOT" He still says that. I love it.
Re: Is Your Wife/Husband Your Preferred Body Type?
Yes, my H is my ideal body type. It's what first attracted me to him and that hasn't changed a bit in 5 years. I've managed to stay the exact same too, even after twin pregnancy, so I'm confident he feels the same now. And neither one of us have ever complained about the quality of sex... It's been incredible since day one. So yes, definately preferred. Posted via Mobile Device

No. My husband was very skinny when I met him, not at all what I was looking for physically. He won my heart, however, by meeting my emotional needs for affection, physical touch, and a sense of adventure and passion.

Awesome!!! I feel the same way about my wife, even after 39 years. So we were in GAP yesterday and she came out of the dressing room with some tight jeggins on. OMG...she looked so HOT!! Instant hard on!!!

Re: Is Your Wife/Husband Your Preferred Body Type?
Yes. The way he looks is what first attracted me to him. He's tall and at the right weight for his height. He's not a big beefy body builder type guy. He's also not a skinny ectomorph either. He has a flat stomach and just the right amount of muscle tone. Me like.
Re: Is Your Wife/Husband Your Preferred Body Type?
Nope. Both of us were outside of the preferred body type for the other.
He liked girls with lots of curves - and I am 5'4" 110 lbs (was 100 lbs when we married.) So, I was straight and thin, very boyish almost, to say the least. He liked girls with dark hair and dark eyes - I am blonde and blue-eyed.
I liked taller, leanly muscled guys who had dark hair and dark eyes. H is a Daniel Craig look-a-like with a much shorter, heavier muscled physique, light brown hair, light eyes.
But, something clicked and it worked. Been married 23 years now. Don't regret it at all that either one of us went outside what was our preferred 'type'. It ended up not being so much what was on the outside as what was on the inside.
Re: Is Your Wife/Husband Your Preferred Body Type?
We were attracted to each others voices and personalities initially - before we knew what each other looked like. His accent and voice just melts me. Thankfully vice verse too
We were definitely attracted physically when we met, but no, he wasn't typically my "type" but there was something about him. He was clean shaven with short hair. Athletic/skinny. He could eat anything and he was trim, a slight 6-pack peeking through. As he reached late 20's, he gained weight and even though I was physically attracted to him before, I loved his slight belly and thickness of his thighs. He started surfing and his thighs and glutes really popped. In the words of that_girl: rawr...!!!
He's changed over the years and not of my influence, he now has a tattoo and his hair has periods of being longer. He goes through phases with the facial hair too. There's a mental/emotional change that coincides with this. He resembles a cleaner cut version of Dave Grohl. I'm now attracted to Dave Grohl as a result lol. To me, hubs stands out in a crowd. And DAMN!! he works a pair of jeans that drives me nuts.
I was/am his type. Dark hair, dark eyes. I'm 5"4 and was around 118lbs when we met. He liked my thick thighs and curves. He always commented that he loved my hips. I've gained around 15lbs over the years (maybe a couple more since Xmas). I'm going to lose this and tone up, primarily to feel better and healthier within myself. So I'm his type - but could use some toning. He likes toned softness.

Romantic Guy:
You sound very similar to my husband and your wife sounds alot like me ... he is a little taller at 5'10 & weighs in at 150ish and I do not at all like big muscles, even TOO MUCH of a rippling six pack does not turn me on. So long as they got that muscle down below the belt going on, nothing better than a really thin man - for me. I also like the looks of a hairless chest, and my husband is more tipped in that direction, probably cause he is a lower test guy -not crazy about that part - I guess we can't have it all.
My husband looks especially good to me with a little stubble -has his contacts in, like Heartsbeating said ...."And DAMN!! he works a pair of jeans that drives me nuts", I 2nd that...my mind is near always in the gutter to reach down below . I even like it when he gets dirty working outside, coming home from work.
I've always been attracted to my husband's body type, he was a shy guy when we met, not popular with the woman at all but his body type was perfect for me , that attraction glue was there. I often find myself looking him up & down when we are out, thinking "mmmm can't wait to get back home". If he wasn't mine, I would notice him -I guess that is the way to put it.
I am not sure where the heck my head was at in the past. I never wanted anyone else, but I seemed to not notice his body near as much then as I do NOW. Even though it was hotter back then in his youth!
My husband likes his women thin, no fake boobs, no tatoos and favors brunettes....I have always been his type- pretty much why he asked me to go with him days upon meeting me . He did tell me it was my face that 1st caught his eye though, he didn't even think of me in those lustful ways - I found that very very odd, but that is what he told me.

Re: Is Your Wife/Husband Your Preferred Body Type?
Yep. My H likes thin women with a little junk in the trunk.
He's 6'2 and more than strong enough to hold me down and take control, but not overly buff to where I worry about man rage. It's a delicate balance, but necessary. Posted via Mobile Device
Re: Is Your Wife/Husband Your Preferred Body Type?
No, but I think he's sexy as heck though! My hubby is very thin, it would be nice if he gained a pound or two. He actually has only 1% body fat.lol
My husband is a triathlete and extremely athletic. He's raced in a few ironmans. I use to race in triathlons and run 36 miles a week, but since my neck/spine injury I lost all my muscles and toned body. I gained weight(30lbs) and I'm working on losing the last few pounds. I've lost 20-22 pounds of it by calorie counting.
My hubby seems to be happy with me, I'm not overweight, but I'm not as thin as I use to be. He still finds me very attractive. I miss my toned body! Posted via Mobile Device
