that sounds like a long way for 1 thing, perhaps you may want to spend a night or 2 on Waikiki which is very close to pearl harbor. There is so much to see in that area it would be worth it to spend some time there. My tip: don't miss wailea and Hanuama bay, also a day trip away from Waikiki.

We've pretty much decided we aren't going to do this. I figure we should be able to go again and stay on another island sometime in the next decade! We're going to stay on Kauai the whole time - so far we have booked a luau, a helicopter ride, a tubing day, a zipline day, and a boat ride. Plus farmers market shopping and kayaking.

How was your trip or have you gone yet? Hopefully you were not there during all the rain a couple of weeks ago. I grew up in Hawaii but I never got a chance to go to Kauai myself.
