I'm curious for the people out there...where DO you meet people? How do you dress? Do you go out?

The dating scene was just awful for me. I wasn't into clubs or the bar scene...I met my husband at a car dealership when my car had issues-- he was my mechanic.

When I moved from San Diego to Houston, the first person I met was a snotty professional pearl clutcher with a "peel me a grape" attitude who looked me up and down and gasped "You aren't from the South....are you?". I said sure I am! Southern California. South is right in the name!
