Well, from Dana Point, to that area (all of it), I had my nose in the air too. LOL Not really, but...people in South Orange County don't think any other place is good. I don't like South Orange County for that reason.


And it wasn't Pacific Beach. It was some classy Indian place...not a tattoo/piercing parlor

Isn't it amazing what we did back then that now kids get killed for? I was 16 with my fake I.D. and my twin and I went down there ALONE to party. We bought double movie tickets from Mann Theater as "proof" that we went to the movies and then hauled ass to Mexico.
Two then blonde 16 year old chicks partying in a foreign country = smart! Um, yeah.

I used to have a bumper sticker that said "There is no life East of I-5". Amazing how life changes. Grew up with wealthy but horribly abusive parents and now live VERY east of I-5. While I love La Jolla, I associate a lot of pain with it.
Having said that, Houston sucks and I only have 4 more years until our youngest finishes high school and it's back to the beaches baby!!!!

I live in the San Fernando Valley now and it's the farthest I've ever lived from the ocean in my life. It took my skin a year to acclimate.
