I have seen "ur, itz, gona, yez" and a whole host of others and NOT from a mobile device. Incorrect spelling and grammar is a huge pet peeve of mine. Anybody else feel this way? I am posting this tongue and cheek but come on.
< I wanted to actually type, ROFL...then I thought...perhaps acronyms are included in this? Do kids even know what an acronym is these days??? ( Im 40...so anyone under 20 is a kid to me) or care??

My kids are 19 and 14 and I have taught them proper grammar/spelling. They cannot STAND the acronyms. I occasionally use them and they get up in arms about it. Ha! Too funny.
I can so relate to this - and I post from mobile... So I go through the whole deal to include punctuation, (usually a series of periods... My bad habit I guess). :P
I don't mind shorthand/abbreviated words for texts, but when "writing" do it right!
And for love of mankind - paragraphs are appreciated! If it's too (another one there - to, too and two - lol) crammed together it can be rather difficult to read!
Glad I'm not the only one who has thought these things while reading others' posts! Posted via Mobile Device

y'all git yur panties in an uproar thez dayz ovr nuthin.
good god, makes my eyez moist.
When I'm posting from mobile I so want to type the texting lingo, but I don't and partly because it bugs the crap out of me trying to read posts with that kind of spelling. lol
I am very detailed and notice almost every spelling mistake and/or typo people make. I used to get bothered by it. I used to spend hours dwelling on things I write, even on a message board, making sure it was grammatically correct and flowed. I have learned not only to tolerate mistakes but also not worry about making my own any more, if I see a spelling mistake in a comment I made I rarely go back to change it. It really has made communicating a lot more enjoyable for me, I even relish the thought of someone getting their panties in a bunch when they see my mistakes.
I actually make less mistakes on my mobile (which I rarely use to comment here) because I have an android phone with Swype, so it is actually quicker to spell the long form of the word because autocorrect works better that way.
