In fact just last night the wife and I were discussing moving TV`s from room to room when I thought how much I`d love it if we just moved the TV out of our room.
That led to me realizing I`ve never in my life had a TV in my bedroom until I moved in with this woman.
I absolutely hate it, can`t sleep with it on, it`s distracting during sex.
I`d like to throw it off the roof.
She however can`t live without seeing the same episode of CSI for 567th time.
This reply just gave me another thought.
If I did remove the TV from our room I bet she`d start crashing on the couch watching TV.
Sometimes hubs will move the TV in there so we can watch a movie in bed but it's a rare thing, usually just as something different so we can snuggle/be more comfortable - or if one of us is sick. Otherwise we can both fit on our couch laying down, so we can be close watching TV and movies anyway.
I will admit I like it when we have it in the bedroom but it's kind of hubs' rule not to. If it was that important to me, I'm sure he would consider it, but it's not that important. I like that our bedroom is our peaceful sanctuary, and I like that he promotes this for us.
Each to their own but we don't have a TV in ours. We don't watch many shows anyway.
Even though I have little use for the bedroom other than for sleeping at the moment, I keep TVs out of there, just in case I ever get to have sex (regularly) again. Bedrooms are for sleeping and (at one time) sex...
more I think about it, we also use the tv to be loud enough so the kids dont hear the sex moans

We have two of them, although one will be moving out soon. One is a tiny one that is only on when I'm on the treadmill because it faces the right way. It will be moving to the basement soon, along with the treadmill. The other we can watch from bed and kind of just ended up in there when hubby was moving back home in 2010 and had bought a new one while he was on his own. I like watching the morning news on it if I am not on the treadmill, or laying in bed watching something if he's not home at night. I also enjoy watching stuff with the kids sometimes - yes my 18 and 20 and 22 year old kids like to snuggle with their mommy But when we're doing anything other than actually watching it, it's off.
We probably wouldn't have one in there except for the way it happened, but I don't mind it being there.
I've got a big @ss tv in my bedroom, and I like it. Sometimes I'll lay in bed and watch TV, sometimes I use it for porn when the GF comes over... We still have a sex life we're happy with, so it doesn't take away from that.
Who knows what it would be like if we were living together though...
We've got one but it's never been turned on at night. The only thing it was ever used for was watching the news while I was getting dressed in the mornings. Lately I can't remember the last time it was turned on because I started listening to music while I'm getting dressed. Who has enough energy left to watch TV when they get to bed?? I read some worthless guy's type fiction book for about 10 minutes and then it's bye bye for me.
have to have a tv in the bedroom. im kinda like this, i dont like tvs in the living room because we have kids, and if they had access to one, they would never go outside, or do homework..
and then i would have to sit next to them all the time when they were home from school--[we have 4] they make so much noise.
i like to watch secret diary of a pros., californication, boardwwalk, game of thrones...none of the things i watch are for kids.
we dont even get in the house until now or later. popeye is on now, then ill watch american dad. i watch rated "R" movies, and this is my husbands and my time for tv.
i like to come in, put the tv on, and get into the bed.
i will agree, some shows are distracting--how its made--that is just a porn show...with the bad music, and they do say the actual words..when the shaft is lubed...and when you stroke the nipple...
it just sends us into giggles. a worse channel is ID...this one guy went to hotel rooms, put on a wedding dress, put on porn, started a video camera and ahem..gave himself some self love...
it wouldnt have been so bad if he wasnt getting and afternoon delight before the kids ran back into the house, that almost killed it..we were laughing so hard..
