I agree. That's why I told my wife we weren't going there on our honeymoon.

I think someone somewhere is messing with the theme of the forums.

My 18yo daughter even hates Twilight. But apparently she LOVES the tv series Supernatural. Ug.

My wife has a tattoo on her back of the flower on the cover of the second book. Seriously. It's crazy because she has really good taste in all other areas of her life, especially men.

The first movie with Kurt Russel was pretty good, but the series was too fluffy for words. All the series'. My 20 yo son has almost all of them on DVD and used to make me watch episodes with him, trying to convert me. Nope, not gonna happen.

The original "The Andromeda Strain"
"Forbidden Planet"
"Minority Report"
"Screamers"
"Alien"
"Bladerunner"
"Silent Running"
"The Abyss"
"Children of Men"
"Primer"
"District 9"

Yes 3 of those are PKD stories.

Children of Men was excellent. One of the few movies that were better than the book

I recently read a book called 'Flood' and it's not-entirely-a-sequel 'Ark' that would make an excellent movie or movies.

The Dune mini series. Not that god awful movie with Sting. (Still some of the greatest sci-fi ever written)

BSG, and I did like the ending.

Babylon 5

Alien Nation

2001 : A space Odyssey. Just because it is a seriously deep movie with lots of stuff woven into the story.

OK, you screwed up, it happens. Now apologize. But apologize just once. Make it loud, clear, short, to the point, and directly to those you trespassed against. Then move on.

I gotta say Donnie Darko is still one of my favorite movies of all time. Everything about it is reminiscent of my own adolescence. Including the fact that I went to Catholic school. I can watch this movie over and over- a true cult classic.

Donnie Darko is the sh!t. The theatrical cut is better than the director's cut IMO.
