I usually lock the door too. or atleast I used to.

but I've become much more careless since being separated, there is even line of sight from an exterior window to the bathroom on the main floor so people driving by looking in could see me doing business, I just don't really care anymore.

I still close the door and turn the fan on if I have something rotten to expel, don't want to stink up the whole house.

I got into the habit of leaving the bathroom door open when I was a single mom with three little kids. If I closed it they would freak. I seem to have kept that habit, because the only time I close the door is when we have company now.
