I don't drink beer at all. When I was drinking I usually drank gin and sour and red headed slvt shots.

I was diagnosed with PKD 2yrs ago so........no more drinking for me.

I love both, but definitely NOT together.

Right now I'm tossing back a few Blue Moons.

Baby is cranky, hubby is cranky and I'm spent! Cheers to a more relaxed evening!

Wish it were that easy!

Hubby has been napping pretty much since he got off work... So I've been taking care of baby since, oh I dunno, about 3am???

And she sleeps in 5 minute increments! I'm beat and she's bright eyed and bushy-tailed... Ready to wail the second I get up.

Thank Goodness for a bit of beer. Otherwise I might just jump off the balcony!!!

It's tough before they start sleeping through the night. Hopefully you have some arrangement worked out so that your husband can do some of the night feedings right now. You're going to need some breaks.

You know, I almost hate to bring this one up, but when you said that, I was thinking back to those days and ... my son is practicing the piano right now. He's getting really good ... I have started really enjoying listening to him play. He's working on a piece by Bach right now, and just polishing another piece by Musio Clemente. I was thinking of that just because of the contrast with the nights before they start sleeping through ... the evening sounds can definitely get more pleasant as they grow.

Thanks, Shy Guy.

Actually the biggest problem is baby doesn't sleep day - or night. So I end up with her all day and all night... And since hubby works his banker's hours it doesn't ever seem like I get a break. He helps a little when he gets off, but mostly he wants to unwind. If I need to go downstairs to use the restroom, he'll tell me to "hurry".

I have to admit, I've been self-medicating a lot lately. :/ Not too much, tho. Just nights like these

I'm a Tanqueray girl myself but Bombay will do, it's a bit 'perfumy' for me
