Went over to my mother's to wish her a happy birthday (a St. Patty's Day baby) and we had a couple of Guinness.

Red Bull... It just helps keep the caffeine headache at bay...
For now....

Tonight, some of my homemade dry, sparkling cider. First bottle from this batch - it's about 6 months old so just getting old enough to start really getting good.

Cheers folks, for whomever joins me on a Monday evening.

Drambuie when I am chilling alone.

Irish Red (Red Oak locally) when I'm with friends.

OK, you screwed up, it happens. Now apologize. But apologize just once. Make it loud, clear, short, to the point, and directly to those you trespassed against. Then move on.

... I'm not even sure how a person gets from Pinot Noir to Miller Light

Is it a mood thing? or a "whever you got" thing?

Ah, I see. When I'm at home, I only drink about 2 nights/week at the most, but at home, I always drink what I made ... or whatever someone brought over. I make blackberry wine and cider. I may branch out into beers later, but I've grown to like the cider more than beer, so I may just be content with what I have.

On the road, I usually will drink a beer or two with dinner. I don't travel so much anymore, though. I did tend to drink a little more on the road ... it's boring in the evening you know ... (Oh, and I don't really consider <insert name here> light to be beer . I usually prefer a dark beer.)

Ice waters down the gin too much. A great big hell ya on the extra olives!!! Bombay? Sapphire or regular?? Sapphire is my alternate - the one I don't like is Tanqueray.

I usually have a glass of wine a night at home..it just calms me down after a hectic day...I tend to get really bad anxiety when I'm stressed and right now between home life and work I'm very stressed and feel anxious a lot....

Word to the wise; lab ethanol has methanol, pyridine, benzene or acetone mixed in intentionally to denature it.
