Dolly, you are correct, and we must protect the world from those Phillistines who insist that a martini can be made with vodka. The horror! One slight correction; the proper proportion is 3-1

Tonight I'm seeing some friends, they make these "Palomas", tequila with squirt, lemon juice and a little bit of chopped fruit either guava or mango and the rim is chili powder with salt, the kind you find in those mexican grocery stores... yum!

I'm such a noob around alcohol. I've never had a margarita (or a lot of other famous drinks). Shocking I know.

It's not because I have any objections, but my wife doesn't like the taste of alcohol and I don't like to drink alone so much (other than the occasional beer).

That and I hung out with a lot of engineering and science types in college... lol not exactly party central.

I like it well enough, just don't like getting drunk. I keep a case of beer around my house though all the time. I just take my time getting through it.

uhh, what?!?

Everywhere I've lived the engineers are the hardest partiers of all.

("science types"... well those aren't really the same types as the engineers where I live, maybe match your description better)

Scuse me, I was a 'science type' in uni and we had THE most WICKED parties. Romulan ale is NOT something for the faint of heart, thank you.
