Oldgirl do you weigh yourself every day? I always found that to be really demoralising due the fluctuations, once a week max is better I reckon
off for another swim today - can still feel sunday's but going for a mile and a half today yeah baby
You're right Dolly, it can get demoralizing, and I know there's a lot of fluctuations due to water retention, etc. but for me, weighing in everyday keeps me from overeating and helps me to stick with my plan.

It's not nearly as sexy as it sounds. I found it on YouTube, but I don't see it there anymore. It's just some movements for loosening up old hip joints.
I'd love to put a link here for a video from YouTube that I'd like you all to see but I don't know how. It's made by the same people that did Happy Hips. It's called "Age & Treachery Tough Mudder Training". I'm not quite as old as the couple in the video, but I'm getting there I find it very inspirational.

I used to do all day fasting for my religion. omg.
As a teacher and mother, I would probably eat one of my children while fire shot from my eye sockets and horns grew from my head.
If I don't eat, I'm a royal betch.
I know going back to work will help SO MUCH with my weightloss.
I'm on an eating schedule and moving all.day.long.
My daughter and I both struggle with borderline low blood sugar, which makes both of us focus more on frequent, light snacks. For me, it is made worse by a rare cellular enzyme disorder.
I don't like to recommend supplements, since I'm not an expert, but I read some articles provided by the nutritionist at the research clinic I visit annually for the muscle disorder. It recommends trying CLA(conjugated linoleic acid) supplements, which, at least for us, seems to help stabilize the low periods through the day. Some people call it a weight loss supplement, but I really think that this is because those who snack for genuine low blood sugar just don't feel the need to snack as much. Took a couple of weeks for me to really notice the difference. I even stopped for a while to observe the difference.
My wife began to comment that I was looking unhealthy recently, because I had lost significant muscle mass and really just overdoing it on rowing, so I've been working to bulk up. I've always really enjoyed weightlifting, but go through spells (because of the muscle disease) where I just suddenly start losing a lot of weight. For me, the CLA seems to help keep my weight more stable.

Today, I ran seven miles and did some weight training for back and legs. Tomorrow, I'll repeat the cardio, but skip the weight training. 2 balanced meals and one cheat meal (cheese = cheating), but I stayed below my calorie limit for the day. I'm craving ice cream, but I would rather invest in the idea of wearing a bikini on the beach before summer ends, so I'm not giving in.
