You guys know I don't imbibe. Tonight when I was at the store I bought a couple of bottles of Kombucha. Anybody try this stuff? It's fermented tea. My trainer says its good for you. I popped th top off one. Smells like a*s.

I did 40 laps tonight (1.2 miles) in the pool tonight. I was doing 65 laps, but now I'm going much faster and by the time I hit 40 I can barely walk out of the pool.

I did a 500yd in 10:15 tonight... I really want to get under 10 minutes in the 500.

I never was big on running until about 3 years ago. I started by running a block then walking a block about 3 days a week. It was not long until I ran a mile without stopping...then 2...then 3. I run 3 days a week now 4 - 5 miles at 9:30 a mile. I ran a 5k last year at under 8:30 a mile. You just have to keep at it. You must also spend the money on good shoes ( $100 or more). Run alone if they won't. Use an app like runkeeper to track your progress. You can do it!

I finally hit 275lbs on my bench press tonight! Not bad for an old man who's been out of commission for three weeks. I surprised myself.

Damn! And I was excited to press 150lbs for 6 on an incline tonight. Wide grip 2-1-4 tempo with breathing techniques and rest pause if necessary.
