Oh he massages my feet almost every night! I just plop them in his lap LOL I'm subtle like that.
Ok, so I lifted weights. NOTHING big. I started out with 3 pound hand weights a month ago. and they kicked my ass. Now, I'm with 10lb hand weights and feel great Ooooh I should post my arm difference soon. It's cool.
Gonna do some situps and lunges. Need to do what I can even though my foot sucks right now. I think I have been wearing flipflops too much and walking WAY too much at work. Eesh.
Situps can hurt your lower back and take focus away your abs when your hip flexors come into play. For better results have your husband hold your calves and brace your toes with his knees. This will help both your lower back and use your abs for more range of motion.
Well, my PF has been kicking my ass a bit lately, so my running has slowed down. After my longer run last week, my physiotherapist did quite an ART number on me, and I didn't feel comfortable running for about 4 days. Since then, I've just been doing 5 km runs. Had another physio treatment yesterday and ran again today, so it seems like things are improving. Wes going to bump it up to 7.5k tomorrow and see how things go.
On the other side, my weight has been behaving at least. Not losing very fast right now with just doing 5k (about 400 calories), instead of 10 (800 calories) or 20+k (1600). I'm sitting at about 172, at 5'11". So close to my "weight window" goal of 165 +/- 5 pounds. But it will get there.
Actually jogging is a lot harder than sitting on a bike machine at the Y. Last night (around 10pm), I went for a jog around my neighborhood. I for one was glad that it was dark so no one could see me sucking gas. Still I did over half the neighborhood (left off what I refer to as the hill of death because it is so terribly steep).
Still been at my morning workouts as well, jogging at night is just an addition to help me loose more weight... been at a weight plateau for a week or two now. I also want to work towards a 10k like I mentioned, so this was step one last night.
This morning at the gym did upper body and 30 minutes on the bike machine.
You can still exercise when you're pregnant but nothing more than light swimming, exercise classes, or walking. I know I see pregnant women at the gym from time to time. It may not seem like it's all that beneficial but maintenance on your bones and joints will help lessen transitional time after bed rest.
