Being a WWI and WWII history buff, I know what an ANZAC is, (and I think that the CA-13 Boomerang was an awesome plane!) so I looked up ANZAC biscuits, and I'll try whipping up a batch someday.

Isn't it true that the Australian government frowns on the marketing of ANZAC biscuits that don't follow the recipe to the letter, and that they busted Subway for this?

I'm not sure about this, I'll have to investigate ...

BTW my hubs is a major WWII history buff too. His family are all Navy.

Haha I wish they would. It's rare you can ruin an anzac biscuit... but not impossible and when it happens, it is TRAUMATIC. Yes, the people responsible for the bad ones should be made an example of
