I agree Nikita was better than Point of No Return, though I enjoyed both and would put them both on this list.

Besson seems to like that kind of character - secretly trained assassins as heroines (Columbiana) and kickass females (Fifth Element)

If you like kickass females, you should see Serenity if you've not done so yet: Serenity (2005) - IMDb

River is seriously BA.... all I can say is "Miranda"!

Entropy, since you're a fan of The Dude, have you heard of Lebowskifest? They have several of them around the country, if one is near you, you might want to check it out!

I think I linked this earlier, but I think it's worth a 2nd linking for those Lebowski fans: The Tron Lebowski - YouTube

hahaha, that is great! Especially since I love both Tron and The Big Lebowski. Watching the new Tron movie, I could definitely see some of The Dude in Kevin Flynn.

I think it would loose a lot just watching it at home alone.
I used to go to that theater. The UC Theatre on University Ave. Went and saw RHPS there too. That was weird funky fun.

Some literary agents and publishers these days even put a blurb on their acceptance criteria page telling writers that if their story doesn't include a kicka$$ female, don't bother submitting it....
