He is just too soft for my taste. And WTF is a soo soo soodio anway?
The main lyric came about as Collins was improvising lyrics to a drum machine track he had programmed: "suss-sussudio" was a wording that scanned improperly. After trying to find an alternative word to fit the rhythm, the singer decided to keep "Sussudio" as the song title and lyric. Collins has said that he "improvised" the lyric. Collins was just playing around with a drum machine, and the lyric "sus-sussudio" was what came out of his mouth. "So I kinda knew I had to find something else for that word, then I went back and tried to find another word that scanned as well as 'sussudio,' and I couldn't find one, so I went back to 'sussudio,'" Collins said. According to Collins, the lyrics are about a schoolboy crush on a girl at school.

The estranged third wife of singer Phil Collins has spoken for the first time about the collapse of their marriage - blaming the fact that they developed 'separate interests'.
Orianne Cevey's comments follow revelations about the singer's relationship with an American newsreader he has been dating.
Swiss-born Orianne said of the breakdown of their seven-year marriage: 'We really got on well, and then one day we realised that our interests were not the same any more.
'In such cases, separation is the better solution. That's not to say that we don't speak any more. On the contrary.
'We had 12 years together and I will like Phil all my life. There's not a war between us. We get on very well.'
Orianne, who is 22 years younger than 55-year-old Collins, met the former Genesis drummer in 1994 while she was working as a translator.
At the time he was married to Jill Tavelman, whom he dumped by fax before marrying Orianne in a lavish £300,000 ceremony in Switzerland in 1999.
They lived on the outskirts of Geneva and had two sons, Nicholas, five, and Matthew, 18 months.
The couple announced their split in March, but had been living apart since January.
Orianne added: 'Any couple can separate - but my husband is called Phil Collins, so a great deal was made of it.'
She admits she was devastated, but added: 'You have to look on the positive side.'
Collins started his new girlfriend newsreader Dana Tyler, a 47-year-old divorcee, after she interviewed him for New York's WCBS-TV in May.
One of Orianne's friends said: 'She is really stressed and upset at the moment. She knew nothing about the TV woman until recently. The news really shocked her. She knew that there was no chance they would get back together but she didn't think he would start seeing someone so soon.'
Collins, worth an estimated £115million, recently bought an apartment in New York. However, he is expected to spend most of his time near his children in Switzerland.
Collins also has a daughter, Lily, from his second marriage, and a son Simon and adopted daughter Joelyi and daughter from his first marriage to Canadian-born Andrea Bertorelli, which ended in 1979.
