Umm ... this is a response for the discourse round about page 5 or 6 I believe. Have seen similar discussions, and found this one.

Deejo, you know apples would kill me. But as for twinkies, today I made one-bowl chocolate cupcakes (Martha Stewart recipe, I know, I know...) with buttermilk, very healthy.

If only I could gain weight - 5 pounds of bootie would be worth shaking in dance class, and a push-up bra might actually do something worthwhile.

I am experimenting this summer with $162 a month of food stamps. Although I have an impressive stash of food coop staples like rice, black beans, red beans, pinto beans, peanut butter (that we might be allergic to but not real sure...), and oatmeal stashed away in large buckets, also a garden and some seeds I didn't plant last year. I think we will be going vegetarian except for hot dogs and bacon. Wish me luck. I really doubt I am going to get any booty this summer unless I overdo it on some-mores and I really have an issue using food stamps to buy marshmallows and chocolate bars.

Oh, as far as Burger King goes, our manual for food stamps specifically says NO HOT OR PREPARED FOR CONSUMPTION FOODS, this is a violation in our state. Of course, you could ask for a cold burger and argue it is not really a food and neither is it fit for consumption....

I intend to blog and post recipes.

And yes, I took out half a stick of grocery store brand butter and confectioner's sugar and some vanilla because the cupcakes will be even better with frosting.

My daugher said she did a test at school, it was a physical fitness test. She did a flexed arm hang for over a minute and was the longest in the class. In officer training school her mom could stay up indefinitely and talk to her captain while he made bets with people he invited about how long he could make his 'runt' in his flight stay up on flexed arm hang. He was usually the one to make me come down, because after he won his bets he would get bored. lol.

As an adult woman, last year when I was actively working on it, I could do 15 man pullups and talk through most of them. My adult son's friends thought this was very creepy but they always wanted me to demonstrate. It has been a while since I've done pullups but I do climb overhang very easily at the rock gym and can scramble up 5.12 slab like it is a staircase. It's all about core strength and body weight to muscle ratio and balance (which is made better by core strength.)

Cupcakes and frosting. Sadly also hot dogs and fries for dinner, at least cooked at home. It is my 'night off'. Last night we had homemade teriyaki chicken and rice and homemade garlic bread. Tomorrow it's tortellini and cheese and probably pumpkin pie which counts as a vegetable. :-)

My spiritual healing book says that if you have good spiritual and emotional health it is difficult to be unhealthy no matter what you eat. The human body is designed for survival. Mosat ailments like obesity are due to misalignments of the spiritual sort. Including allergies, something I am working on (internalized anger adds to the allergy effect.....yikes.)

Last night it was bean burritos and apples made at home. LOL!

I was lazy.

Real women don't want flowers and chocolate.
They want vodka and Taco Bell.
