Angel and 827, I love your stuff! I really wish I could paint or draw, but I'm hopeless at that. You two, however, are wonderful! And the smocking is lovely! Is that for someone in particular? If so, she will be a lucky little girl.

Thank you! That dress was actually worn by my daughter when she was a toddler (she's now 18). I saved all the outfits I smocked for my children.

Wow, what a talented bunch we are!!

I could post a pic of the Love Is Art hubby and I created on Valentines this year I'd have to take one tho.

I paint pictures, make cakes, fool around with photography, create in my kitchen, garden veggies and just love to make stuff. All I have pics of right now are these:

Yogurt fermenting in my oven


homemade vanilla


halloween decorations I made last year


homemade apple pie filling


couple of cakes

Barbie cakes aren't too hard. You can rent the pan and body, at least that's what I did, for one of them. On the other, the barbie body is actually a candle.

Seeing the pictures other people have painted really makes me want to get back into doing that in a bigger way. I kind of put it on hold when I had kids.

this one was for my ex W's spa website (I actually had retouched one to put the background pure white but can't find it and don't have any photoshop at work):

Some purple weeds that grow all around here, usually they are brown but they go purple for a little while:
