My eldest daughter turned 18 today! Wow! How time flies right before our eyes. A big milestone for her.

This coming July she is joining the military to serve our country. My daughter had a lot of ambition and high goals she set for herself!

I'm a very proud mother to have such a wonderful daughter in my life. However, she's not to keen on our house rules(yes, there are many), so she's decided to move in with her grandparents in two weeks after graduation, until she joins the service.

Luckily it's 10 minutes from our home, so we will see her often.

LOL... She'll do fine. My husband and I are pretty strict with our girls. We know where they are at 24/7 and what they are doing. Keeping good grades is another biggie, no slacking or texting during class hours!

She's a really good kid! All 3 of our children are very well behaved!

This made me laugh. My dad ran away from home to join the navy when he was 17, because he was tired of being told what to do!

Congratulations on raising a fine daughter, but please stop calling yourself old. You're making me feel ancient
