Why do so many posters think that 'could've , would've, should've' is short for ' could of, would of, should of' when its actually 'could have, would have, should have' ?

It irritates me, too! That, and you're vs your... and there, their, they're...too vs to. Really, it's not that difficult. Guess I'm grumpy, too.

This from the woman who always corrected mom's spelling as a teen. I kid you not, she spelled "vacuum" with so many extra letters that eventually, she started abbreviating it "vac."

and then I had the genius idea to make banana and choc chip muffins... but when I raided the cupboard there were no choc chips because I'd eaten them on a "must have chocolate" moment.
I did find some Turkish Delight that I'd been given at Christmas time though....yum! JUST SAYIN!
