After driving home yesterday in holiday traffic I'd have to add: Rubberneckers!

Seriously just a car on the side of the road and every feels compelled to slow down a snails pace and witness... NOTHING! Grr.

Meanwhile traffic is backed up for miles because EVERYONE feels compelled to look. Folks it's not that interesting, just drive on.

Neighbors who seems to think it's ok to "borrow" most of life's little necessities. You know, dish soap, eggs, milk, toliet paper.........

And I can't stand the peppy people at my Starbucks. It's 5:30am. STFU!

I also can't stand when (and I love my friends) my SAHM friends talk about their "work" and how hard it is.

listen, lady...I'm working full time and being a wife/mom at home.

STFU.

I know what it means to be a SAHM. I do it in the summer. Sure, you have to get shet done during the day, but it's in NO WAY the same as a 9 to 5 job. So when I say, "WHEW! That was a long week..." don't say, "OMG, I soooo know it." No you don't. You have one or two children and a husband who works to give you money. lol. I have 34 kids at school and 2 at home and a husband who works to barely pay his bills. Without my check, we'd be in some box behind the market. So...seriously. I'd LOVE to be a SAHM. But it's not work like work is work. Just my opinion, of course, but come on....kinda stupid to compare the two. I am up at 5:15am...friends sleep til 8 with the kids...or take the kids to school and then go home! SIGN ME UP!

Adult children who think that you are an ATM, and husbands who cannot resist the blandishments of a daughter. Boundaries!

LOL I laugh at that because my kids know what answer they will get if they ask for something: You got your own money for that... do you have enough left to pay for it?

I don't even have to finish the sentence, just a look is often times enough.

My children know all too well that I, nor my husband, are ATMs.

Favorite Bill Cosby skit:

Child: But we're rich!
Dad: No, let me get this straight. *WE* are not rich. Your mother and I are rich. *YOU* have nothing.

I love that quote. I think between my dad and Bill Cosby (both from the same part of Philly), I got that very mentality instilled in me. Oh and I remember that episode, my kids and I actually watch Cosby show sometimes on Netflix... it's not dated much at all.

ha!! i disagree!! Working at a factory would be a hell of a lot easier imo!! (And yes I have worked at a factory lol) Then again.. I don't have the luxory of tossing off my kids on someone else like some people do.. or using a daycare.. :/ Man... I seriously miss going to work... and sure it wasn't a 9-5 job... it was a 2pm to about 3or 4am job.. but hell it was easier imo. I do envy some other SAHM's especially when they boast about being able to toss their kids off on a relative or friend or neighbor then go out DRINKING or CLUBBING!!
