Default Weather as of June 1st

We still have not had a single day hit 70 degrees F (~ 21 C) at my house this year. It's hit 69 a few times, but hasn't broken to 70.

Last year, in late August, I read on one of our TV stations weather blog that we had a total of about 14 hours above 85 degrees F (~29.4 C).

I love this weather .

We've already had record high temperatures. I've been swimming since April.

Today however is chilly. 61 according to my computer. Brrrrrr....

I'm still wearing long sleeves, but I see guys in the hallway wearing shorts. My son wore shorts to school all winter, and I think that's nuts ... it's pretty mild most days, but still ... I guess it's considered wimpy to not wear shorts these days ... If it is, then I'm a wimp.

Yep. Although we had that "cool" front pass through yesterday, and it got down to 69 last night (I hope SouthernWife doesn't see that ...). Probably the last time we'll see the 60's until late September or early October.

I love Texas, but just damn.

Just looked at the forecast on WeatherUnderground.com. It looks like we're not going to get over 70 for the next few days, either.

As SW said we are climbing into the lower 80's today... though personally I just love summer nights here. Nothing like walking the dog at night in the low to mid 70's and it's just that comfortable level of humidity too.

Wow. That could easily be a winter forecast around here.

We love getting in the pool at night, after daughter has gone to bed....lighting the tiki torches, cold adult beverages!!!

Interesting looking at the details on that forecast, too. Sunrise is at 5:14, but there was a lot of light in the sky at 4:30. Sunset may be 8:58, but last night, there was a lot of light in the sky westward at 10:15 PM. We do have long twilight periods in the summer.
