[Middle of Everything]

Heating something up in the microwave got me thinking, are other people as weird as I am about funny little things?

That thing being, when I use the microwave I always put things in for odd little times like 23 seconds or 49 seconds, 2 minutes and 32 seconds. Never 1:00 on the dot or even 45 or 30. I think a very small way for me to be a contrarian or goofball even with a microwave.

I know I know, I likely need help. Or do other people have somewhat similar eccentricities?

If I pour out a small bag of chips on my plate to eat.. I eat the crumbs, smallest to the biggest...

When I eat out of the bag,, I shake the bag, and eat all the folded up curled ones first....

When I eat jaffa cakes, I carefully eat the chocolate top first and then the sponge base leaving the disc of orange jelly. Then when I have about 5 discs collected I pop em into me gob for an explosion of orangey goodness!! Meanwhile everyone else in the living room looks at me like I'm a total cretin.

Not sure what a jaffa cake is, but Im with you. I dissect Kit Kat bars when I eat them. Chocolate off first, then the individual wafers. Yeah Im cool.

I refuse to own a microwave.

I won't live in a house where the address doesn't add up to an odd number. 11 is fine. It's my lucky number, EVEN THOUGH 1+1=2. Odd. lol.

When I was a kid, I would count my steps and wouldn't enter any room without odd numbers of steps.

I hate even numbers.

I had to break goldfish crackers (when I could eat them) in half with my teeth before I ate them.

When I eat M&Ms, I suck the shell off and then eat the chocolate.

God help someone who wants something that I'm eating. that's my biggest pet peeve. MOMMY DOESN'T SHARE FOOD!

If I am eating something like strawberries, melons, pizza rolls, cheese cubes, carrots, ect... i tend to pick through them, flipping them over and feeling them before i choose one to eat. My daughter does this too and hubby up and asked me one day why the hell do we do that lol... and apparently we take apart and dissect everything we eat lmao. Me and her also look in our drinks before drinking them.

My youngest has a touch of the old OCD. So if you want to drive him bonkers, just punch random time into the microwave and leave it.
