I just got my copy from Game Stop at midnight. This game rules! You're a chainsaw wielding cheerleader from a family of professional zombie hunters, it's kind of like Sailor Moon with all the stars and rainbows and a cheery feel save the day feel, but don't let that take away from the killing.

So far there's only two attacks starting out high and low with jump and pop pop bash, you can make multiple combos out of just those. It sort of feels like a superhero game where you constantly collect coins after a kill and it's not at all creepy, but it's so funny with all the sassing and jokes.

I know a lot of you girls like zombie flix and stuff. I definitely recommend this as a zombie game for guys and girls.

I beat it!

My first interpretation of the game was that it may be too childlike with it's shooting rainbows and stars during special attacks and cheesy comic book feel. I was mistaken for sure! The cartoon like graphics with a 'High School of The Dead' feel was a refreshing change from all the other gorey zombie games, but with mature jokes that kept it from getting too boring.

Now there were times I was heavily reminded it is a combo and button masher, like a lot of Sudo 51 games, with a limited map just fighting one group of zombies after another with upgrade stores every once in a while. Although, the story and comedy more than made up for this for me. For instance the first boss you fight is a punk rocker zombie who yells curse words like "c*********" and "vanilla sl*t" you have to jump over.

Just when I thought it was going to be a disappointment and I should return it, I loved it all that more. I almost never buy a new game or play for that matter, but I've been looking forward to this since I first say it announced at E3 and fell in love with the concept. I'm going to keep this game and see if I can find a girl who's like it too, can't be that hard.

I recommend getting a used Xbox slim from Game stop ($180-$200 for everything) and a usb powered cooling base for a laptop. These gaming systems have a tendency to overheat with long term usage so anything you can do to air cool will help extend the life.

You can find some great games for under $20 now, but the really cool thing about xbox is XboxLive. $60 for a gold card for one year of Xbox Live with whatever you pay for internet will get you everything. You can even buy games downloaded directly to the system. Once you get set up with Netflix ($8 a month) oh, forget about cable. So long as you aren't watching movies all day it's a great set up. You can watch whole seasons of shows from cable without anything bleeped out. Don't get hulu it sucks.

I ended up pulling that 360 off the entertainment center and replacing it with a 320GB PS3 that my brother in law left with us while he's away. Thing is he left like 100 games for the PS2 along with it because is had a ps2 slim but I thought hell I'll just hook up that nice ps3 that's brand new. Of course this Ps3 doesn't play ps2 games! what a crock.... so I either hook up his old ps2 or be limited to the 3 or 4 ps3 games he had but they are all rated T and I don't want the kids playing them yet.

And I love that the PS3 had a netflix app instead of the 360 version that you had to pay for xbox live to use...
