Indeed, with the exception that while I was befriending this little dude, the spouse was ignoring me and enthralled by pictures of tractors on his phone. At least I was getting some lovin' from the chipmunk.

Yeah, he's a wild chipmunk. He was hanging out in the woodpile at the lake house this weekend. I decided he needed to be my friend. I bought his friendship with peanuts.
