We bought a new house. Only to find that it had been sold to someone else, afterwards.

Apparently the reason was because the two people who should have dealt with the sale were too busy having sex with each other (both cheating on their spouses) to actually get around to filing the paperwork.

We put a complaint in and the house was ours and they were not sacked, but were transferred.

That's terrible.... It's a good thing you got the house though. Of course... paying for something ... only to be told it was already sold to someone else.. AFTER you paid for it? Hell.. that would tick me off... I'd demand my money back!
