you know, if your waters break in Tesco (supermarket, store whaddever you call it) you get free nappies for life! well for as long as your kid needs nappies I assume, why would you want nappies for life

Oddly enough this is like the third or fourth time I've heard that. When a nurse kicks you out of the "don't go into labor room" for making her laugh too much it's no longer a laughing matter.

I just had a flashback reading that post.

I was preggers with my son, pretty close to my due date. One evening STBXH decided to rent something funny and see if indeed laughter would put me into labor. Picked one of my faves, Robin Williams...Live at the Met. Everytime I laughed, he watched for any sign of labor starting. Although that tape did induce near hysterical laughter (in me) it didn't kick start labor. Had DS 8 days after the due date.
