The older I get the less I sleep in summertime too. Right now I am waking up at 5 or 6 am every day, wide eyed awake, because it's LIGHT out. We have an east facing glass door in our bedroom.
Lon where are you located? Farther north than Edmonton apparently!! | I know, civil twilight is 10:20pm and nautical twilight begins near midnight and I don't think there will even be astronomical twilight so the sky will be partially illuminated all night. My bedroom faces northeast and I don't have blackout curtains so it is shining in my face just after 5am.
I'm actually a little farther south than you, but farther west in my time zone (S'toon).
