What are you favorite TV shows, past and present? I'll start.
I do not watch tv during the day because I have too much chores and homework to do and the programs are AWFUL.
I love to watch Teen Mom, Celebrity Apprentice and Family Guy.
Teen Mom is a social commentary on mothers who are too young and immature to be parents. They have started to use this show in sex ed classes and I think "Teen Mom" is a bunch of cautionary tales for teens to watch. I don't like the way the young women are treated like celebrities for doing something which is not a good idea.
Celebrity Apprentice is a show that my husband got me into. Now we both watch it every season. It is interesting to see celebrities from when I was a young child again and how they have aged. I also love the focus on raising money for charity.
Family Guy is gloriously tongue-in-cheek and offensive. The characters are archetypes with original attributes added. Some of the humor is very lowbrow and slapstick, but that is just part of the fun. I get a huge kick out of people who think all animated shows are for children-Family Guy is certainly an adult cartoon.
As a kid growing up in the late eighties and nineties, I was into many of the campy cartoons from my grade school days. I loved She-ra, My Little Pony and the Care Bears. You couldn't tear me away from Jem or Sesame Street either.
Mr.Belvedere and Who's The Boss were hilarious shows about hired help and The Cosby Show was every upper middle class black family's template where I lived.
I copied the outfits on Dawson's Creek as a teenager. There were also some Canadian shows that few here will recognize: Ready or Not and Degrassi Junior High anyone?
Louie, Peep Show, Breaking Bad, Downton Abbey, Dr G Medical Examiner, Rocko's Modern Life, Archer, Always Sunny, Arrested Development, Better Off Ted, Minister Takes Questions, CSPAN Book TV, Luther, Boondocks, Bridezilla, Bad Girls
Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister are probably my favourite British comedy shows
But I also love Blackadder, Alan Partridge, Porridge and The Thick of It
Top Gear, Cracker, The Killing (Danish version), Peep Show, League of Gentlemen, West Wing, The Wire, The Sopranos
Guilty pleasures are Miami Ink (oh Chris Nunez I love you!), Man vs Food, Air Crash Investigators, The Vicar of Dibley
ahem
oh I forgot Question Time for shouting at the TV, This Week for laughing at Andrew Neil's hair and RLD reminded me of LUTHER

OK, you screwed up, it happens. Now apologize. But apologize just once. Make it loud, clear, short, to the point, and directly to those you trespassed against. Then move on.

I don't watch too much Tv, I like to catch Lifetime movies, Hallmark movies & we do Netflix....more than anything else.
If flicking channels, we always stop for "1000 ways to die" - We find it completely halarious, grotesquely sick..... we howl, I scream & I cover my eyes it is so gross -but it is educational after all. Love stuff like that.
I enjoy anything TRUE, I enjoy Documentaries alot, Biographys, I enjoy Reality shows... if it has anything to do with Romance, even more so... probably mindless but I love the Bachelor and The Bachelorette (of course) and Survivor.
Haven't watched South Park in ages, but for a cartoon, that is my favorite. Was a huge Monty Python fan in my youth.
I enjoy catching Primetimes, 20/20's, I have never watched one episode of Desperate Housewives - even though that would be right up my alley.... So many programs I would likely LOVE but never took the time to lay my eyes upon....Dawsons' Creek is likely one of them.
Most of the stuff mentioned on this very thread... I have NO IDEA what those shows even are, not a clue.
