WTF? How did I do this to myself? The last two days, I've worked full shifts at work, then come home, changed, and taken DS out to the house where I've put in another 3-4 hours working on the floor (which is finally done except for covering over the nailheads on the baseboard. Yay!!), and loading and hauling multiple station wagon-fulls of stuff for the yard sale I"m having tomorrow morning. Solo. My first yard sale ever.
I'm taking the day off of work today to price and sort stuff. And make lemonade and cookies for DS' lemonade stand. Luckily, his best friend is back from vacation and his lovely mom offered to take DS overnight. In return, I told her to bring her son to help DS with his stand. That should be interesting! I can imagine I'll spend more time helping them than I will at the sale. He's really excited about it though, and really wants to share some of the money with me. He didn't want to do any of this last week at his dad's sale. I think he's awfully sweet.
STBXH gave me a giant plastic tub of his clothes to sell for him, and none of it is priced and labeled, even though I gave him labels last weekend. I also had to take time out from other stuff to get DS' old clothes together because he didn't do that as I'd asked, either. Total passive-aggressive sh!t that I put up with for years.
So, after the sale and clean-up, I'll have a few hours off to recover. Then book club meeting Sunday morning, pick-up DS from his dad's, pick-up another friend of DS for a few hours, then take him home and we all stay for his sister's surprise b-day party which starts at 5. Then, it's all back to work on Monday.
I'm almost glad I don't have any plans for the 4th of July. If the weather's nice, I might just sit in my yard with a tall (Mike's) lemonade and read a book all day.

hey angel, why not price all his clothes at 5c per item and then hand him the money over with a big smile
I am going to see my lil sister and my niece and nephew for the weekend and plan to drink an awful lot of alcohol and take them on outings (outings before alcohol OBVIOUSLY)

Have fun -- travel safe-- and hope the weather is nice !!
I personally would leave your STBXH stuff in the basket as he left it. I wouldn't do a damn thing to help him but, I am a passive aggressive BPD wench.......
Not nearly as passive-aggressive as he is! I was reading an article on P/A anger a couple of days ago, and it gave an example of something I dealt with all the time, and the guy in the example even had the same name as STBXH, LOL. And -- last week, he tried to use this very thing as an example of why I was so hard to live with.
Yeah, wish I could put him in the box by the curb with all the 'Free' stuff.

Have a great weekend, Dolly! Here's to hoping you meet a gorgeous rugby player who's up for a shag!
